Among the most visually stunning Caridina varieties, the Extreme Blue Bolt features deep, saturated blue coverage with minimal to no white patches—an eye-catching showpiece in any shrimp collection. Bred for its intense pigmentation, this shrimp is ideal for enthusiasts focused on quality and selective breeding.

This shrimp requires stable Caridina parameters and performs best on active, buffered substrates such as ADA Amazonia, Fluval Stratum, or NEO Soil (Korean brand) to maintain rich coloration and overall vitality.

How is it different from a regular Blue Bolt?

While regular Blue Bolts display a gradient of pale blue to white, the Extreme Blue Bolt boasts nearly full-body coverage of vibrant deep blue with little to no fading. This makes them more desirable for visual impact and premium breeding programs.

Recommended Water Parameters:

• Temperature: 20–24°C (68–75°F)
• pH: 5.5–6.5
• General Hardness (GH): 4–6 dGH or TDS between 100–130 ppm
• Carbonate Hardness (KH): <1 dKH
• Ammonia & Nitrite: 0 ppm
• Nitrate: Below 20 ppm

Size: Sexed adults approximately 1.5–2.0 cm (5–6 months old)
