Orange BOA Juvenile (Low grade 3)
An affordable entry into the world of BOA-pattern Caridina shrimp, this orange base variant features subtle markings and genetic potential perfect for breeders and hobbyists alike.
This shrimp requires Caridina-specific parameters and should be kept in buffered substrates such as ADA Amazonia, Fluval Stratum, or NEO Soil (Korean brand) for long-term health and color retention.
Recommended Water Parameters:
- Temperature: 18–24°C (68–79°F)
- pH: 5.5–6.5
- General Hardness (GH): 4–6 dGH or TDS between 100–140 ppm
- Carbonate Hardness (KH): <1 dKH
- Ammonia & Nitrite: 0 ppm
- Nitrate: Below 20 ppm
Size: Unsexed juveniles approximately 0.8–1.0 cm (around 3–4 months old)
